Eminem "Chloraseptic" Remix featuring 2 Chainz and Phresher

Yep. Em just went HAM on this new “Chloraseptic” remix featuring a verse from 2 Chainz & Phresher.

CHECK OUT THE SONG HERE. FLAMES EMOJI EM STARTS AT 2.38!!

Em’s verse is like “Rap God” in terms of style, but a little bit elevated, with his 2014/2015 levels of skill & writing, really intense and brilliant rapping, lots of delivery switch-ups.

“…where’s your content at? What’s with all the conscious rap?”

After a tirade of shit talking and responding to recent criticisms, Em ends by asserting “I’ll be back!”.

This closing segment has me thinking Em is going to come back with the next album a lot quicker than four years. I would go as far as to say we might even get an album in 2019. If you look at what happened with the Relapse drop; he got the mixed reception and then made Recovery in 6 months… because he was fired up.

Em has always been a reactionary artist and I’m actually glad Revival got the response that it did. It was a flop sales-wise (though Em seems to think it was due to his Trump dissing? I’m not so sure.) and got bad reception from fans and critics, but the overbearing “fuck this album” was big this time.

I think Em is pissed and this is going to fuel him to create some other shit. Which is why I am happy about this. If he got a positive reception to Revival or sold really well… he would think that formatted pop shit he’s been doing to death for seven years is the way to go and probably keep making more of it.

I just hope this is not just a verse or a few songs worth of fuel. I hope he drops the shit, stops listening to Paul Rosenberg and people only interested in milking him as a cash cow and creates some straight hard hip-hop, preferably with Dre – Bass Bros, Premo or even his own flames production vs. trash like Alex Da Cunt.

You’re right. He’s trying to please fans too much. This is a side effect from Recovery. From Recovery, he got a huge fan base who’s not really hip hop (I still love Recovery lol), so he makes music to cater to them. Now, Eminem is known to have OCD so, it’s obvious he can’t let go off things easily and that’s why he’s always late to adapt to the changing ways of hip hop.

I doubt he’ll make another album. I would love to hear him in more features, soundtracks and EPs if possible.

I seriously want Eminem to quit listening to what everybody wants and just spit like “Calm Down” with Busta. When he’s not thinking about his fans and please no one, he spits flames.

This has to do with maturity as well. He’s in a tough position compared to Jay Z. Jay Z didn’t come out bashing and murdering everyone so it’s easy for Jay Z to go back to his roots. Eminem came out bashing and murdering and people want him to always be ruthless. I don’t think the mature Em wants to be too ruthless, now that he’s got older daughters and he’s grown. Chloraseptic showed what he can do when he’s ruthless and fall back to his old ways.

Eminem always been able to make the best music when someone’s pissing him off. That’s how we ended up with SSLP, MMLP & Eminem Show. Everyone was making him mad at the time.

Personally, I loved the verse. So much energy.

The problem with Revival was that it was too apologetic and mellow. Nothing genuinely made him mad anymore to inspire him. After all, he’s a battle rapper and taking shots at him is the only way to fuel him.

This definitely showed that he’s pissed off af.

Welcome Back Eminem. Hope you’ll be pissed off for the rest of the year lol

True. He does make better music when pissed off. I’m not sure if a mixed album reception is enough to fuel another whole album though, I mean, that fueled Recovery – but it’d be a pretty tired angle if he tried the same thing again; Revival in itself already felt tired and predictable… and was.

I think he writes himself into a corner because he makes it all about him. Because he feels the need to service fans and try to guess what people want, instead of just making what he authentically feels like creating and putting it out. The last time he did that was Relapse. And we got a beautifully weird, unique album. Nothing else sounds like that and I put that on today and I’m in heaven.

I hope it has pissed him off but in a way which results in him saying ”you know what, fuck it, I can’t please people. Let me just try and please me”, that’s what all great artists do – they just please themselves, it’s what he used to do. But ever since Encore and with the exception of Relapse, he’s been trying to please people and it’s resulting in very confused work.
