So here it is…

I definitely think some influence from Kanye was taken there. With the driving scene, the vast backdrop and the artsy women eh? (Runaway). Those are definitely some of Em’s most honest verses ever too.

What do you think of the video, worth the wait?

Eminem rulez! He is the Mozart of our time. I love Eminem. Best rapper of all time. Thanks Dr. Dre for Eminem. I’m a huge fan since high school. I love rap because of Eminem. I listen to all the others but I probably won’t like hip hop if not for Eminem. Peace out!

Pretty good but i agree with Willy

products were pretty active…the HP and Gatorade but i can understand the HP since Dre is in a deal with them due to Beats

and that the last part….dre’s recovery was a fast transition from just waking up to pushin 300?
(dont get technical bout the weights.. his body weight plus the 50 from the weight) maybe its just me bein a bit picky… i apologize

still loved the video and glad that we can agree it was from the heart of em

    First view, loved it.

    Second view, some complaints….

Product placements out of the ass, was the iPad and random Gatorade shot really necessary? Also, I personally wished when Em and Dre were rapping about each other there would have been more flashbacks. Loved the nostalgia of it all. The one with Em in the circle of rappers gave me chills.

    Overall,

    happy with it.

Thing is though, product placements don’t bother me if they don’t in any way compromise the direction, story or shot. And, with the HP for example, they were looking at a computer anyway – or could of plausibly been in that shot anyway so… it makes no difference to me, in fact – it often adds realism. It’s like, if I watch a movie and Denzel Washington jumps out of a Porsche, doesn’t bother me one bit, why would it. The brand is trivial. And, you say was it ‘necessary’ – Well obviously, these people are funding the video so, I guess so yes lol. Videos cost money, so it’s a good, convenient way to get funding.

Fair enough, you made some good points. I guess I was being too nitpicky, Base you should write a review/analysis of the video, if you have the time. Enjoy reading your articles man keep up the good work.

Yeah I am usually very, well, I am a total perfectionist and nothing annoys me more than artistic compromise so I’d usually be right with you. But… Like I say, I think in this instance, it actually adds realism to the world and doesn’t compromise anything so I’m fine with it.

And thanks, maybe will. Have a lot of big articles coming anyway, a lot of big ideas.
